Every year the organizers of Kansas City’s Restaurant Week do a tremendous job of building the lineup of participating restaurants. Year in and year out, the list of restaurants on the list comprise the who’s who of the KC culinary scene. Offering special prix-fix menus for both lunch and dinner during the week long event, diners are given the chance to try places they may normally not consider. This year the list of participants is already distinguished, and still growing by the day.
The 2013 list of participating restaurants include iconic places such as The American Restaurant, Bluestem, the Bristol Seafood Grille, The Capital Grille, Garozzo’s, Fiorella’s Jack Stack Barbecue, Hereford House, JJ’s on the Plaza, Lidia’s Kansas City, Michael Smith’s, Piropos, and the Webster House. Joining these staples of the Kansas City Restaurant scene are Gram & Dun, Julian, Rye (the new concept from the owners of Bluestem), Tavern in the Village, Story, La Bodega, Nara, 801 Chophouse, Harry’s Country Club, Blue Bird Bistro, Anthony’s, BRGR, and so many more.
