BRGR Presents Free State Beer Dinner

Prairie Village, KS (NOVEMBER 11, 2013) – BRGR Kitchen + Bar in Prairie Village is hosting a beer dinner in concert with Free State Brewing Company, of Lawrence, KS. The dinner, scheduled for Tuesday, December 17, will consist of five chef-prepared courses presented by Executive Chef, George Atsangbe, paired with five Free State beers presented by Free State Brewer, Steve Bradt.

Free State, whose mission is simply to “Provide good folks with great-tasting beer that is perfectly suited for almost any occasion,” will provide and discuss beers ranging from their Flagship Brews Copperhead Pale Ale and Oatmeal Stout to the seasonal Winterfest IPA and two brewery-only beers, the Invigorator Doppelbock and Wheat State Golden.

BRGR Kitchen + Bar’s Executive Chef, George Atsangbe has created courses that mingle well with the aforementioned beers. The meal starts with Pork Belly & Crispy Beef  Confit, then moves through Creamy Roasted Poblano Chicken Soup, Fired Up Grilled Chicken & Corn Bread, Braised Bison Steak Tenderloin, and a finishes with a dessert of Chocolate Pretzel Bread Pudding.
